The book is a bibliography with notes and commentary, of about four hundred books written by the Jajamim of Aram-Tzuba, including the authors’ resumes, photographs of the book’s covers, details of the contents of the books and indexes. The book is the result of the activities of the Research Committee of the Center for the Heritage of the Aleppo Jews in Israel, headed by Prof. Yaacov Shweika, and published in cooperation with the Ben-Zvi Institute for the Study of Jewish Communities in the Middle East. The book was awarded the “Aminoch Prize” in 2000. A research book by Dr. Yaron Harel, which includes about 430 pages with books covers pictures published in Aleppo, scientific introduction, keys and more.
